All images are available 24x28" printed as archival inkjet prints.

Through the reproduction process of photography a transmission occurs. In the photographs of lantern slides, an original work of art with its own history is presented along with its transformation as a teaching tool and catalogued document. In the photographs of pictures and postcards, neglected personal mementos are transformed into artifacts of notable importance.

In both series, these objects are transformed once more into a new form with its own set of aesthetic and artistic processes and values to be considered. Together the images preserve these records of disregard reframing their new birth.
